We desire to become a church
who shares
the good news of
Jesus Christ with non-religious
and nominally religious people
through a variety of methods,
with many of them making life
changing commitments to Him
as their personal Lord and
Savior.
We desire to become a church
who sees
the people become
spiritually developed (new
believers as well as maturing
believers) into fully committed
followers of Christ, through
a life development process
including: worship services,
times of prayer, Bible studies,
seminars, special courses,
and small groups.
We desire to become a church
of grace
(a biblical community
who emphasizes truth and love)
an authentic group of people
who are in the process of finding
acceptance, love, encouragement,
forgiveness, and the opportunity
to find meaning and purpose
in life, regardless of their
past and problems.
We desire to become a church
who gathers together once a
week for Christ-centered worship
and yet meets throughout the
week in clusters of small groups
of people, committed to sharing
the special Christian fellowship
unique to the body of Christ,
while developing relationships
and the spiritual growth to
the fullest.
We desire to become a church
who is bonded
to Christ and
to one another by partnering
through a covenant relationship
based on responsible church
membership. This covenant will
define and clarify a biblical
standard of church membership
in accordance with the Bible
and the stipulations of Christian
discipline.
We desire
to become a church who promotes
the family, where people
are experiencing intimacy
in their family relationships
and marriages which are being
strengthened in their commitments
through biblical teaching and
Christ’s power, a place
where children and youth learn
and develop life skills for
Christian living.
We desire to become a church
who recruits,
trains, and sends
out our members as missionaries,
church planters, and church
workers throughout the world;
sending out people as short-term
missionaries for services in
various countries and planting
daughter churches, as our emphasis
is Kingdom growth not just
church growth.
We desire
to become a church with
a facility
that will be practical
in nature yet maintained with
care so as to reflect Christ
and provide a worshipful atmosphere
for people to exalt Jesus Christ
and enjoy His peace and presence.
While we don’t believe “bigger
is better,” numerical
growth can be a result of spiritual
maturity and Godly initiated
evangelism. Therefore, we desire
to grow as God causes the increase.
