Here are a few simple rules which we will enforce to ensure you the best service we can give you:
- It is mandatory that you pick up your
food on delivery day. If you cannot make it, because of work or an
appointment, please designate someone else to pick up your order.
Sometimes, things happen which slow down the distribution process. To
be fair to all, we will not put you ahead of others who are waiting.
Put aside the time on the morning of delivery because there are
occasional delays in distribution. If you do not come for, or wait for
your order, IT WILL BE GIVEN AWAY. Remember to bring a large box or
laundry basket to pick up your order!
- No one may pick up any order without
your receipt. If you do not bring it, you will be politely asked to
leave and return with it. It is your responsibility to put your receipt
somewhere safe and bring it on pick-up day. IF SOMEONE ELSE IS PICKING
UP YOUR ORDER, THEY MUST HAVE YOUR RECEIPT. NO EXCEPTIONS!
- When you pick up your order, please pay
attention to what is being placed in your basket or box. It is YOUR
RESPONSIBILITY to make certain your order is complete before leaving
the premises. Angel Food reserves the right to substitute items which
were on the original order forms with items of a similar type or to
totally replace items with other items. We have NO control over this.
- One stop shopping. You may make your
order for the next month on the previous month's delivery day. We
accept only EXACT CASH, money order or food stamps. We cannot accept
personal checks. We will not make change. If you do not bring EXACT
CASH, you will be asked to return with it on that day prior to the end
of delivery day or before the next order's due date.
- NO Refunds. NO Partial Reimbursements.
We cannot credit forgotten orders to another month. All spoilage must
be reported immeditately, and the item returned directly to us for
replacement/substitution. Everyone must be held to the same standard of
Personal Responsibility. EVERYONE.
- WE ACCEPT FOOD STAMPS if you bring us
your ACCESS card and a form of ID with your current address on it. YOU
MUST KNOW YOU HAVE ENOUGH FOOD STAMPS IN YOUR ACCOUNT BEFORE ORDERING.
If Angel Food does not get paid, you will not be permitted to use food
stamps ever again with them. All future transactions will then be CASH
ONLY. You will not be given your food until ACCESS payment is verified
or you bring cash to pay for it.
- IN PERSON ORDERS may be made at the
church on pickup day for the next month, or by calling 724-238-7906 to
arrange a time to drop off your order. You may also drop off your order
in the church’s mailbox, though we strongly suggest you use a
money order if you are going to do this.
- CREDIT CARD ORDERS may be made through the AngelFood site. You MUST put a note in the comment field that you will be picking up at Ligonier Baptist Church.
- MAIL ORDERS? We DO NOT encourage mail
orders, but if you must, send your order no later than the Friday
before the orders are due. We will NOT be responsible for lost or late
orders. (A better idea is to pay for next month's order the day you
pick up the previous month's order.) Send ONLY money orders, made to
LBC. Send the order to: LBC 326 N. Grant Street Ligonier PA 15658. No
cash or food stamps through the mail.

Angel Food Ministries is a
non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing
grocery relief to communities throughout the United States. Angel Food
Ministries, like most all other retail grocery stores, also
participates in the U.S. Food Stamp program, using the Off-Line Food
Stamp Voucher system.
Ligonier Baptist Church is a
501.c3 registered Pennsylvania Non-Profit organization. We accept
donations, and those donations (over $10.00) are tax deductible. We are
not responsible for mishaps during or after distribution of food boxes.
Once food boxes are distributed, purchaser becomes sole owner of those
foods. Food boxes not picked up on the day of distribution will become
the sole property of LBC and will be distributed as determined by LBC.
LBC will not be responsible for the delivery of food boxes. We would
appreciate any donation to help us defray costs of transportation and
management.
