In an effort to provide affordable, high-quality food for families in our area who would like to stretch their food dollars, LBC has decided to be a part of this food distribution opportunity. At $30, one food box will assist in feeding a family of four for about one week or a single senior citizen for almost a month, at a 40%-60% savings from retail grocery stores!

The Benefits of Angel Food

• No pre-registration or qualification required (if you eat, you qualify!)

• Never “seconds” or “day-old” items!
• Not a fundraiser – the church does not keep or receive any monies collected for the food.

For over thirteen years, Angel Food Ministries has helped hundreds of churches in 38 states distribute high-quality/low cost food to their churches and towns. Their motto is “If you eat, you qualify.”

• You MUST come on distribution day to pick up your food You must provide boxes to carry your food.

There are always “specials” available each month for an extra charge. These “specials” are also at a very minimum cost and are of the same high quality. You must order them on the same order form and at the same time as your $30 box. You must order at least one $30 box in order to take advantage of the “specials”.

The food is all the same high quality one would purchase at a grocery store. There are no second-hand items, no damaged or out-dated goods, no dented cans without labels, no day-old breads and no produce that is almost too ripe.

Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief to communities throughout the United States. Angel Food Ministries, like most all other retail grocery stores, also participates in the U.S. Food Stamp program, using the Off-Line Food Stamp Voucher system.

Ligonier Baptist Church is a 501.c3 registered Pennsylvania Non-Profit organization. We accept donations, and those donations (over $10.00) are tax deductible. We are not responsible for mishaps during or after distribution of food boxes. Once food boxes are distributed, purchaser becomes sole owner of those foods. Food boxes not picked up on the day of distribution will become the sole property of LBC and will be distributed as determined by LBC. LBC will not be responsible for the delivery of food boxes. We would appreciate any donation to help us defray costs of transportation and management.
